AI Concierge (Hawi)

We offer an AI-powered concierge on this website named "Hawi". When you use the concierge, your queries are sent to our API at api.tauernstays.com and from there forwarded to Google Vertex AI (Google Cloud EMEA Limited, 70 Sir John Rogerson's Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland) in the europe-west3 region (Frankfurt am Main, Germany) to generate the response. No data is transferred to the USA.

Legal basis is your explicit consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you can grant through our cookie consent tool before using the concierge and revoke at any time. Without consent the chat function is unavailable; all other website content remains fully accessible.

Queries and generated responses are stored in a database on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH (Frankfurt am Main, Germany) for quality assurance and abuse detection. Storage is without IP address or other direct personal identifiers. Retention: max. 12 months, after which records are automatically deleted.

This website contains affiliate links to partner portals of the Expedia Group (Vrbo, FeWo-direkt) and to the platform Ferienwohnungen™ (ferienwohnungen.de, Holidu GmbH, Riesstraße 24, 80992 Munich, Germany). If you click on such a link and complete a booking, we receive a commission at no extra cost to you.

Tracking is provided by the affiliate networks Commission Junction (CJ Affiliate, Conversant LLC) for Expedia Group partners and Awin (Awin AG, Eichhornstraße 3, 10785 Berlin, Germany) for Ferienwohnungen™. When you click an affiliate link, cookies are set for booking attribution. This processing only happens with your consent via our cookie consent tool. Web analytics

We use Plausible Analytics for privacy-friendly reach measurement. Plausible is self-hosted by us on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH in Frankfurt am Main (Germany). There is no data transfer to third parties and no transfer to the USA.

Plausible sets no cookies, does not build user profiles, and does not use cross-site tracking. Only aggregated statistics are collected: page viewed, referring domain, browser/device class, country (based on IP — the IP is never stored, only hashed with a daily-rotating salt). Identification of individual persons is not possible.

Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in privacy-friendly reach measurement). You can object at any time — for instance via your browser's Do-Not-Track setting or by using an ad blocker with a Plausible filter. More at plausible.io/data-policy.
