Wald im Pinzgau — quiet mountain village at the gateway to the National Park
Wald im Pinzgau lies just a few kilometres east of Krimml and is the unhurried little brother in the valley. For those who want an authentic mountain village without the tourist bustle, with direct access to the Wildgerlos valley and the Hohe Tauern National Park.
The location is ideal if you want to be near Krimml but spend your evenings quietly on the terrace. The Königsleiten/Gerlosplatte ski area is less than ten minutes away — one of Salzburg's most snow-sure family ski regions.
